Membrane Antiscalant MST0100

Appearance: Colorless to light yellow liquid
Main component: Phosphorus-containing small-molecule organic matter
Specific gravity: 1.10-1.24

I. Product Performance: MST0100 is a small-molecule scale inhibitor suitable for reverse osmosis (RO) systems and nanofiltration (NF) and ultrafiltration (UF) systems. It prevents scaling on the membrane surface, can increase water production and water quality, and reduces operating costs. Product features: Effectively controls inorganic salt scaling over a wide range; without acid addition, the maximum LSI value is 3.0; it does not coagulate with iron and aluminum oxides and Si compounds into insoluble matter. The dosage is 1.0-5.0 ppm; an influent pH value of 5-9 is the effective range. II. Technical Indicators: | Item | Standard solution | | Appearance | Colorless to light yellow liquid | | pH value (1% aqueous solution) | 2.5±0.5 | | Specific gravity | 1.10-1.24 | | Main component | Phosphorus-containing small-molecule organic matter | | Total phosphorus content ≤ | 12% | III. Usage: The dosage of MST0100 is calculated and determined according to the full water quality analysis report and the reverse osmosis system conditions. Within the recommended dosage range, most of the following types of scaling can be controlled: calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, barium sulfate, strontium sulfate, ferric hydroxide, aluminum hydroxide and silicon. The volume of MST0100 concentrate that should be added to the dosing tank can be calculated according to the following formula: Q×a×V U= --------------- 8×1000×ρ×X Where: U———volume of concentrate to be added, liters (L); Q———reverse osmosis feed water flow, tons/hour (T/h); a———dosage, grams/ton (ppm, g/T) (standard solution); V———effective volume of the dosing tank, liters (L); ρ———density of the scale inhibitor concentrate, kg/L, the density of MST-0100 is 1.45; X———actual working output of the dosing metering pump, liters/hour (L/h); 1000———unit conversion coefficient, grams/kilogram (g/kg); 8———concentration multiple. IV. Packaging and Storage: MST0100 is an 8-fold concentrate as delivered. Each drum is 25 kg; after 8-fold dilution it is equivalent to 200 kg of standard solution. Store at room temperature away from light for twelve months.
