Membrane Antiscalant MST800

Appearance: Brownish-yellow transparent liquid
pH (1% aqueous solution): 10.5±1.0
Density (20℃) g/cm3 ≥: 1.10

I. Performance and Application: Reverse osmosis membrane scale inhibitor MST800 is a liquid scale inhibitor used to control scale deposits in membrane separation systems. It effectively controls calcium carbonate, calcium silicate and calcium sulfate scale, has high scale inhibition efficiency and does not form insoluble polymers with residual organic coagulants. It prevents scaling in reverse osmosis (RO), nanofiltration (NF) or ultrafiltration (UF) systems without ion exchange pretreatment, increases water production and water quality, and reduces operating costs. II. Product Features: (1) Compatible with PAC and MST800 and other scale inhibition and dispersion agents; the LSI on the concentrate side can reach 3.20; an influent pH value of 5-9 is the limited range; (2) Can be used for producing drinking water; (3) Effectively controls calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, barium sulfate and strontium sulfate scaling; (4) Can be used with major reverse osmosis membranes; (5) Maintains a clean reverse osmosis membrane surface by dispersing blocking particles; (6) Effective at influent pH in the range of 5-9; (7) Can be dosed directly without dilution, or dosed after dilution; (8) Good tolerance to aluminum and iron oxides. III. Technical Indicators: | Item | Indicator | | Appearance | Brownish-yellow transparent liquid | | pH (1% aqueous solution) | 10.5±1.0 | | Density (20℃) g/cm3 ≥ | 1.10 | | Total phosphorus content ≤ | 8% | IV. Usage: To achieve better results with reverse osmosis membrane scale inhibitor MST800, it should be dosed before the security filter. The typical dosage is 2-6 mg/L; it can be diluted with RO membrane permeate or deionized water. Note: Too high or too low a dose will cause membrane fouling. V. Packaging and Storage: Reverse osmosis membrane scale inhibitor MST800 is packed in 25 kg plastic drums or as required by the customer. Store at room temperature away from light for twelve months. VI. Safety and Protection: Reverse osmosis membrane scale inhibitor MST800 is alkaline. Pay attention to labor protection during operation; avoid contact with skin, eyes, etc.; after contact, rinse with plenty of water.
